New ‘Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2’ Gameplay Trailer Features an Onslaught of Tyranid Hordes [Watch]

After a brief reveal last December at The Game Awards, Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive have unveiled a new gameplay trailer for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2. While it's another brief trailer, there's plenty of bloody action for you Warhammer fans who are in between sessions of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun.

The game sees you once again put on the armour of a Space Marine of the Ultramarines Chapter, a superhuman warrior who protects humanity from untold horrors. The sequel to the 2011 cult favourite by Relic Entertainment, Space Marine 2 sees Ultramarine Captain Titus going up against the Tyranids, a ravenous insect-like alien threat.

While no release date has been announced as of yet, you can still pre-order Space Marine 2‘s physical Collector's Edition from the Focus Entertainment Store. The game is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam.

If you’ve been wondering just when Capcom's upcoming Resident Evil: Death Island film would be released, wonder no more. Sadly, other than Japan, it won't be seeing a theatrical release.

After initially being revealed for this Summer, and then subsequently announced for release theatrically in Japan on July 7, Sony Pictures has now announced that Death Island will be getting a release digitally and on Steelbook 4K UHD and Blu-Ray on July 25. Pre-orders are now open.

Extras included with the Blu-Ray and 4K:

Directed by Eiichiro Hasumi ("Assassination Classroom") from a screenplay by Makoto Fukami ("Psycho-Pass"), Resident Evil: Death Island is a sequel to 2017's Resident Evil: Vendetta, featuring the voice talents of Matthew Mercer, Stephanie Panisello, Kevin Dorman, Nicole Tompkins, and Erin Cahill.

In San Francisco, Jill Valentine is dealing with a zombie outbreak and a new T-Virus, Leon Kennedy is on the trail of a kidnapped DARPA scientist, and Claire Redfield is investigating a monstrous fish that is killing whales in the bay. Joined by Chris Redfield and Rebecca Chambers, the team discovers that the trail of clues from their separate cases all converge on the same location, Alcatraz Island, where a new evil has taken residence and awaits their arrival.
